Since May, a new gem has been inviting guests to relax in our idyllic gardens: surrounded by greenery, the newly designed pool offers the perfect mix between minimalism and subtle elegance. Here, hotel guests can now dive in, cool off and daydream by the poolside.
The opening party in May delighted guests with an aperitif, food & drinks, as well as free yoga sessions with Yin & Sound and Matcha Meditation. Musical entertainment was provided by the band Amistat.
The pool is the latest addition to Parkhotel Mondschein, which was freshly renovated in May 2022, located in the heart of South Tyrol’s capital. This impressive boutique hotel, with its iconic white shutters and elegant stucco decorations, is a listed building and was established already in 1330 as the first hotel in Bolzano. The most recent redesign of its 76 rooms was carried out in collaboration with the Merano-based interior design office „Studio Biquadra“, led by Christina Biasi-von Berg. Particular attention was thereby paid to harmony, minimalism, and subtle elegance.
The same studio and the same criteria also guided the design of the 48m² pool. The new eye-catching feature with its dark green tiles and terracotta flooring integrates perfectly into the elegant design scheme of this grand hotel.
As an oasis in the centre of Bolzano, the pool now offers the perfect refuge for our guests on hot summer days — to take refreshing dips, swim relaxing laps, or indulge in delicious drinks and snacks from the pool bar.
