Moritz and Klaus Dissertori in conversation

The brothers Moritz & Klaus Dissertori simply build the neighbourhood they want to live in themselves. What sounds so simple means consistently working on the quality they want to offer themselves and their guests every day.

How did you develop the strategy for running the houses?

K&M: It came very naturally for us. We have both worked abroad ourselves, travel a lot and look at a lot of things. So we were able to look at our home country with a new perspective and many ideas.

What are your expectations of the houses you develop and run?

K: Our houses live through the people who visit them and work there. We are happy that many of our staff have been with us for many years. And on the other hand, we have a large percentage of returning guests. That is a very nice confirmation.

M: Beyond that, nature, exercise, health, good food, enjoyment and socialising are important to us. All this is ref lected in what we offer. We set impulses with events, get the vegetables from our own garden or get valuable food from producers in the area.

What is the best thing about travelling for you?

K: Collecting ideas and the distance from everyday life and thus a new perspective on one’s own actions.

M: As much as I like travelling, I always like coming back home. The moment when I breathe in the cool mountain air always confirms to me that I am here, living and working here.
