New Year’s Resolution Yoga Retreat

Let's start the New Year the way we want to live: Strong, confident and authentic. Every year begins with the hope of improvement. But good resolutions often don't last long. They fall apart after a short time and old habits creep back in.

In order to implement good resolutions, we need a good foundation, the right framework and time. In this yoga retreat we take our resolutions seriously. If it's a new beginning, then it's the right one!

You finally want to do more for yourself, move more, react more relaxed in challenging times and not lose your lightness above all? Then this is the right retreat for you. We will practice how to practice individually in an integral yoga practice in the way your body needs. We will learn how to realistically integrate a daily meditation practice into our lives. We train to control our moods, our posture, and our nervous system through specific breathing techniques. We also train to accept things we cannot change and to enjoy life as it is given to us.

You will flow through the classical asanas in sweaty flows to selected sound, sit in silence and practice difficult postures in small workshop sessions. If you want to. Because it's your holiday and you practice exactly as it suits you.

In 2024 you finally want to master the headstand? Why not? In any case, you will practice a technique to deal with challenges, authentically, courageously, and full of love for your body.

The yoga retreat is explicitly suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Thursday

From 13:00 Check in and welcome snacks.

14:00 - 17:00 Spend time in the sauna and the amenities of the hotel.

17:00 - 18:30 Yoga practice: a gentle practice to help you really arrive physically and mentally, inspiring grounding and calmness.

19:00 Dinner.

Friday

08:30 - 10:00 Meditation and yoga flow: we establish the foundation: feet and body centre.

10:30 Brunch.

During the day rest, reading, walking, nap and sauna.

17:00 - 18:30 Yoga practice: a deeply regenerating practice to release deep-seated blockages in the back and create space in the joints as well as in the head.

19:00 Dinner.

Saturday

08:30 - 10:00 Meditation and yoga flow: pelvis, abdomen and lower back.

10:30 Brunch.

Daytime Hike.

17:00 - 18:30 Yoga Practice: A deeply restorative practice for the hips. With Yoga Nidra.

Sunday

08:30 - 10:00 Meditation and Yoga Flow: Core. Opening of the thoracic spine. Gentle backbends.

About the teacher

Kristin Rübesamen is one of the best-known yoga teachers in Germany and has been teaching for over 25 years. She is a certified Jivamukti teacher, certified fasting leader (AGL), editor-in-chief of the yoga platform YogaEasy and author of many yoga books. Kristin's yoga classes are dynamic and meditative, known for their caring, hands-on assists and humour. Fiery yoga flows at a slowed pace to specially composed, appropriate music in the morning and deeply restorative yin yoga classes with breath meditation before dinner allow you to start the year with a clear head, full of drive and ease.
