Hotel
... gazing quizzically at the sight of intriguing oil paintings, sipping from antique porcelain cups, raising crystal glasses, savouring tapas with rediscovered silverware, letting the sun’s rays caress your skin on a lounger in the park, finishing a yoga session in the shade of centuries-old trees.
Once upon a time... That’s how many stories could begin at the Parkhotel Mondschein. The 800 years are palpable as nature blends with architecture; exquisite simplicity and almost forgotten treasures accompany the arrival.
Art Nouveau balconies poke their heads out from the ochre-coloured, ivy-covered facade. The path to the rooms and suites leads up ancient stone stairs and wide terrazzo corridors. High ceilings are imaginatively decorated with stucco. It nods to the turn of the century and cleverly plays with contemporary interiors and noble furnishings.
Travel, arrive, sleep, have breakfast, explore the city, the surroundings, the hills, the mountains, the lakes, the city, dine, sleep, brunch, wander, through the city, up the hills, downtown, stroll, unwind in the park, at the kiosk, on the lounger, in the sauna, in the gym, on the yoga mat in the park. It’s simple, and it feels good sitting with an iced coffee, a refreshing bottle of beer, with the city outside, birds chirping, wind whispering, a good read, just drifting away, right here inside.
We look forward to your visit.

Welcome to the oasis in the centre of Bolzano.
The Parkhotel and bar have been an important part of Bolzano for eternity – or so it feels. The “Manschein”, “Munschein”, “Mondschein” or “Luna” was a tavern, an inn, a manor house and a hotel. The oldest part of the building dates back to 1320. Noblemen, artists, farmers, resistance fighters and travellers from near and far used to stop here. A grippingly charming and exciting past.

Shadows grow long; the day draws to a close... while the first martinis are balanced in the park, a bottle of beer greets the setting sun, the last rays caress shoulders, Duke Ellington plays in the bar... Luna is an oasis amidst the bustle, where golden hour is every hour. It’s the new bar in town.
